Houston IAH Airport facts and information

The George W. Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston, Texas, is the second largest airport in the State of Texas, after Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. IAH was opened in June 1969 and was originally the name of the Houston Intercontinental Airport. If not opened two years later, the passenger traffic from Houston William P. Hobby Airport was moved to Houston Intercontinental. IAH has had its current name in 1997.
